Te-Gao Hong is a Taiwanese 🇹🇼 filmmaker currently living in Paris.
With a background in acting, he creates works centered on identity and trauma.
His self-directed / self-acted short film, Unnamed,
premiered at Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival,
was also selected by Frameline- San Francisco International LGBTQ+ Film Festival.
His latest documentary short, A Prayer, funded by Giloo Fest and New Taipei City Documentary Film Awards,
has received the Best Student Documentary Short and Best Editing at Golden Harvest Award.
As an actor,
he participated in several short films, including Freedom Under the Wall and Turn Twice and Click,
which screened at Kaohsiung Film Festival and the South Taiwan Film Festival.
As a performer, he also worked with artists,
the AI interactive video, Exploration and Exploitation have been exhibited at Ars Electronica Festival.
